During the evening hours of april 1, 2013 I photographed comet C/2011 L4 PANSTARRS, now for the first time with my Astrotrac Travel Mount. Sky was very good, only at low altitude there was some haze (due to moisture or dust) and dusk.

Picture below is a stack of 4 images of 60 seconds, taken with my Canon EOS 40D, a Canon EF 200 mm F 2.8 (F 3.2) telelens and a IDAS LPF clip-in filter. Also added darks and bias frames. Time: 19:55 UT. The comet was at that time at a height of only 12 degrees above the horizon.
