Finally a good year. I could observe the three "big" meteor showers Quadrantids, Perseids and Geminids. 2015 is also a so called "Asher-year", a year with more than usual Taurid activity. During six nights I saw many bright Taurids up to magnitude -4. Real big fireballs I did not see, but my all sky camera captured some bright Taurids (to -6). See also my weblog www.astrorocker.nl . Also with my CAMS and all sky systems I was quit succesfull. I could observe during 42 nights.

During the Quadrantid peak night there was an almost full moon in the sky, but I was able to observe during some clear spells. During 2,23 hours effective I counted 45 Quadrantids. My CAMS system captured quit a lot of Quadrantids. A full report here.

Also the Lyrids provided me with a large number of clear nights. For the Perseïds I observed again from La Pierre Rouse at Revest du Bion. There I could observe during 12 nights and I counted almost 1900 meteors. There I was with the well known Belgium meteor observer Michel Vandeputte, his friend Inneke Vanderkerken, Laurien & Casper ter Kuile. A full report here.

Camera: Canon 6D. Lens: canon EF 8-15 mm F4.0 L zoom fish eye lens. Settings: 1600 ISO, F 4,5 , 8 mm, 29 seconds.

Finally thanks to a last minute move we ended up in Oberried Hofsgrund in the Black Forest to observe the Geminids during 13/14 and 14/15 december 2015. Luckily the sky was almost clear during 13/14 december, but we clouded out on the next night. Despite that I logged 650 meteors during 7 hours.
