The year 1989 in images and words
1989 was a busy year for me . On July 21 I married my wife Lizzie and we bought a house. Therefore I could only observe during the Perseid campaign. For the first time since 1986 I observed again on the roof of the water tower near Harderwijk. Unfortunately, the amount of light pollution have risen since 1986.
This Perseïd campaign was especially a great success because of an all clear night 12/13 August. The previous night (11/12 august) was mostly cloudy, but we still saw a -10 Perseide through the clouds! The Delphinus team in 1989 consisted of the following persons: Robert Haas, Bauke Rispens, Paul Bensing and Koen Miskotte.
